Most of my current prints are etchings

My paintings are sometime just a response to observed colour and shapes or even just nostalgic interests in mountains.

I enjoy sketching with a dip pen but most of my line work has been illustrations for various publications.

These remarkable mammals have been an almost obsessive interest since 1970.

A once rare species that I have a special interest in.

My small pictures are often portraits / studies of particular species that appeal to me or I have encountered.

These are mainly small etchings made into blank cards that can be adapted to any occasions.

I am an Art groupie with a passion for bats and newts.
